Highlights
Day 1. Welcome to Shanghai, China. Once you have cleared
customs you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel.
Day 2. Shanghai
and Suzhou. Enjoy a
Shanghai city tour to French Concession (the area has been newly
renovated), the Bund and visit the Oriental Pearl TV Tower for a
bird’s eye view of
Shanghai.
Late afternoon depart Shanghai for Suzhou by coach
(travel time @ 1 hour 20 minutes). Hotel check-in at Xinluo
International Hotel next to Golden
Rooster Lake with a welcome
dinner at the hotel. (B.L.SD)
Day 3. Suzhou. Visit the
beautiful surroundings of Golden Rooster Lakeside and the New
Developing Zoon. Then visit the Classical Garden of Master
Fishing Net, the Silk Embroidery Institute, the Garden of Lion
Rock Forest, the Ancient Water City Gate across the Grand Canal
and cruise along the picturesque ancient Grand Canal. (B,L,D)
Day 4. Suzhou
/ Hangzhou - Depart
Suzhou for Hangzhou by coach (travel time @ 2 hour 30 minutes)
Check into hotel near the West Lake. Enjoy an afternoon cruise
aboard a small sampan on West Lake to Yanggong Causeway
and visit the Garden of
Guo Zhuang Villa by the
lakeside. Have a tea break while enjoying breathtaking views. (B,L,D)
Day 5. Hangzhou
- Visit Ancient Ink &
Calligraphy Society for viewing the lake again on Isolated Hill.
Then visit Qinghefang Ancient Street to a Chinese
Herb Medicine
Museum and Store then an ancient wealthy gentleman’s large “Garden House”
suitably named Hu Xueyan Mansion. (B,L,D)
Day 6. Hangzhou
/ Wuzhen – A morning drive
deep into a green forest valley to visit the Dragon Well Tea
Plantation. Continue along Fuchuan
River to Pagoda of Six
Harmony. After that a drive to Wuzhen-one of the best preserved
water-towns by the ancient Grand Canal. Enjoy a boat ride to the
deluxe Wuzhen Waterside Hotel in the middle of water-town. After
lunch it is free time to explore on your own. A local banquet at
Wuzhen. (B,L,S,D)
Day 7. Wuzheng /
Shanghai Explore
Wuzhen on your own in the morning. The afternoon is scheduled for
the drive back to Shanghai (travel time @ 2 hours) Check into
hotel and enjoy a Farewell Banquet. (B,L SD)
Day 8. Transfer
to Shanghai airport for exit flight. (B)

days prior to departure. Transpacific air is not included.
Land cancellations are refundable minus 50% of tour price. No
refund at all if cancelled within 30 days prior to US
departure. Late bookings received within 30 days of departure
will be subject to $100 per person for reservation rush fee.
